Develop and finish your TV drama pilot here in a professional environment using Script Anatomy’s tools. Instructor Katie Gruel has written for Perception (TNT), Dominion (SyFy) and most recently Shades of Blue (NBC).
You need at least one exceptional original pilot to break into the business.
The TV Drama Pilot Lab is a 6 week intensive course with an additional two weeks for prep. It’s limited to 8 students and we run it like a professional writers room.
You will develop, outline and write your script at a pace expected in the TV industry. All class members are required to devote time to homework and writing, and actively participate in the development and story breaking process each week. In a professional writers room, you must participate if you want to keep your job! Working this muscle will benefit you.
Pilot Lab also includes writing and business-related lectures. As our alumni attest, this unique curriculum provides invaluable preparation for your first job in TV.
Required: Televisionary or equivalent experience.
Instructor: Katie Gruel
